O emacs, how I hate thee. I’m stuck using it for my CS labs, and learned over the course of 3 hours how horrible emacs actually is. Vim, here I come.

I’m going to try and move the blog to WordPress soon. Also, it will have a new home – SteveStreza.com, as well as a new design. Hopefully. There are a few reasons behind it – one, MT was giving me nothing but a ton of crap on this server. Two, I want to be able to use a Dashboard widget to post. Three, I’ve heard a lot of good things about WP and wanted to try it out.

Nine Figures 2 is now available for release. Those of you who fondly remember it as the best way to get the current count of how many songs Apple has sold on the iTunes Music Store back when they were climbing to reach 100 million songs. Well, 9F has returned for the new 500 million song race, and has brought along a killer new feature that Apple’s doing – fast incrementing. Really fast. In fact, in theory, it can be as fast as you want (if you know your way around command-line).

I saw Hitchhiker’s Guide on Friday. I was VERY skeptical when I walked in, as I loved the book and didn’t want a movie to bastardize it. But it was actually pretty good. It got a bit rough and hard to understand near the end, but the movie retained a LOT of the funny guide entries and all of the little nuances that made it so great.
