Bush just got done talking about how nothing is holding us back from becoming a better country (except of course, for himself, but that’s another discussion for another day). And with the conclusion of said speech, so wraps up the bulk of the RNC, or at least the stuff people give a damn about. And if this past week has told us anything about what both Dems and Reps are going to be doing, its SLANDER THE HECK OUT OF THE OPPONENT.

But that’s to be expected. I thought this race was going to be exciting and insightful. Instead it’s turning into a game of he-said-she-said, and the players are Kerry and Bush. It’s starting to get boring. However, tonight marks the kick-off. Maybe after tonight we’ll start seeing debates between these two men, discussing things that matter to Americans. Like terrorism, jobs, welfare, civil service, civil rights, our troops, taxes, social security, and health coverage.
